Analgesic & Anti-Inflammatory Suspension for Pain and Fever Relief in Children

Tobufen Suspension is a pediatric formulation of Ibuprofen, a trusted non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It provides effective relief from pain, fever, and inflammation in children. It is commonly used to treat toothaches, sore throats, headaches, minor injuries, and fever associated with colds or infections.

Active Ingredient (per 5 ml):

• Ibuprofen 100 mg

 

Dosage & Administration:

• Children 6 months to 12 years: Dosage based on body weight (5–10 mg/kg every 6–8 hours)

• Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours

• Shake well before use

• Use a measuring spoon or syringe for accuracy

• Can be given after food to reduce stomach upset

Always follow the dosing instructions from a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions:

• Not recommended for children under 6 months without medical advice

• Avoid in children with asthma, stomach ulcers, or kidney problems

• Do not use with other NSAIDs (e.g., aspirin, naproxen)

• Discontinue use and seek medical attention if vomiting blood, bloody stools, or severe allergic reactions occur
