Flucloxacillin 500mg Capsules are a prescription antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Belonging to the penicillin group of antibiotics, Flucloxacillin works by stopping the growth of bacteria, making it effective against infections caused by penicillinase-producing staphylococci and other susceptible organisms.

Dosage:

• The typical adult dose is 500mg, taken four times daily (every 6 hours), or as directed by a physician.

• Capsules should be swallowed whole with a full glass of water, preferably on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after meals).

Important Information:

• Complete the full course as prescribed, even if you start feeling better earlier.

• Not suitable for individuals allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins.
