Indications / Uses:

Viscof Plain Syrup is helpful in managing:

• Dry, tickly, or irritating cough

• Throat irritation due to allergies or pollution

• Cough associated with viral infections (like the common cold)

• Nighttime cough when a non-sedating option is preferred

 

Dosage and Administration:

Adults and children over 12 years:

• 5–10 mL every 6–8 hours as needed

Children (6–12 years):

• 2.5–5 mL every 6–8 hours

Children under 6 years:

• Only under medical supervision

Always follow your doctor’s instructions or the dosage printed on the label. Use the measuring cup provided.

Precautions:

• Avoid overuse or combining with other medications containing dextromethorphan

• Consult a doctor if the cough lasts more than 7 days, recurs, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache
